Privacy

This site has no accounts, forms, shopping cart or payment collection, and no visitor analytics.

What stays on your device

Three choices are saved in your browser's local storage, only if you make them: the Raat or Chiraag theme (mw-theme), the Amazon store you picked (mw-market), and your sound settings (mw-sound). Choosing the plain text version is remembered for this tab only (mw-plain, session storage).

How the store link is chosen

To link the Amazon store for your country, the page reads your device's time zone, which never leaves your browser. You can pick another store with "Doosra desh?". This site records nothing about your choice.

Hosting

This site is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. To deliver the pages and detect abuse, Google processes the IP address of each request and keeps it for a few months. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's privacy policy.

What your browser loads

Fonts, images, three.js and any ghazal recordings come from this site. The piano, the sea and every other sound are generated in your browser; they start after your first tap, click or key press, and the sound button mutes them.
